We are proud to be working with MAIN to provide a Creative Club for children and young people with special needs.
Established in Middlesbrough in 2002, MAIN has offered out of school and club activities with great success. Young people benefit from the opportunity to get together and meet others with similar needs to themselves. Each of these sessions offer a wide range of activities which the young person can select which activities they would like to participate in. These services are for children aged 5-19 with low level needs.
The Creative Club sessions are held weekly and allow young people to make friends, enjoy games, build confidence & develop listening and team works skills in a fun and creative way. Sessions are held on a Saturday and are priced at £1.50 per hour.
Morning: 9.15-11.45 am for children aged 5-11 years
Afternoon: 12.15-14.30 pm for young people aged 11-18 years
*Because of staffing levels children and young people requiring 1to1 support may need a parent/ carer or support worker to stay with them to support them to participate in group activity.
