What is Breathe Well/Breathe Easy?
Breathe Well and Breathe Easy are the names of our support groups for people suffering from COPD and other severe lung conditions. We currently have two groups. The first group meets on the first and third Monday of every month, and the second group meets on the second and fourth Monday of every month.
What happens at these groups?
At each session, we provide free tea and coffee as soon as you come in! We then put on a range of activities, including guest speakers and arts and crafts. After this, we provide some light chair-based exercise to familiar tunes, and then it’s time for lunch! We provide a free buffet (pictures can be seen above), and if the weather is cold, we’ll also provide a hot meal option, all made on the day at Roseby Road! Free tea and coffee are provided throughout, all you need to do is ask.
How do I get there?
We can provide free transport to and from the sessions. If you would like to make your own way, you can use our interactive map for directions!
What time is it on?
Between 10.00am and 1.00pm.
Sounds great! How do I sign up?
If you would like to come to our sessions, you can either ask for your doctor or other health professional to refer you, or you can self-refer by calling us on (0191) 5181160.
